Who were Marsh Anderson and Seeker, George Washington Jones, Thomas Cook, Betsy Bigley, Elizabeth Tilford, and Lord Somerset? Hear their stories and more as you take an evening stroll through the historic streets of Woodstock.

As a special preview to this year’s Doors Open Oxford, the Woodstock Museum National Historic Site is opening its doors at 7:00 p.m. for site presentations, period refreshments and musical entertainment. Following this “Kick Off” event, join one of our guided walking groups as we wander past some of Woodstock’s stately buildings and hear stories of a few of our more intriguing characters. Not sure about Marsh Anderson et al? Plan to join a tour and immerse yourself in exciting past events and tales of some of the people who walked these streets . . . and perhaps still do! Come prepared - the Evening Spirit Walk will happen, rain or shine.
