Think solar – a festival with music, a solar café run totally by passive energy, solar bikes and more! Hosted by Red Barn Berries, this event also introduces state-of-the-art technology including a solar panel with a tracker that follows the sun. Solar technologies applicable to sustainability in Ontario will also be available for viewing. Professionals in solar energy will be present to answer questions. As well, check out the assorted salad vegetables growing in the greenhouse, and the berry patch with six varieties of berries should not be missed. Those first, fresh berries only become available once a year so join in the fun and have a sweet day!
