2010 marks the 200th anniversary of the founding of Norwich. Participate in the bicentennial festivities by touring the totally restored 1811 saltbox home that was built by the original settler, Peter Lossing. The house is located on the property of the Norwich and District Museum which is actually the 1889 Quaker Meeting house.

While enjoying the displays there, pick up an guide to direct you to other heritage locations in the area. Then go on to explore Quaker Street with the Pioneer and “Old Brick” cemeteries, the original Stover homestead and other heritage sites and monuments. There are 200 years of Quaker history here; come, explore, and enjoy.
