As the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association begins its 25th Anniversary season, come and help them celebrate Veterans and Youth Day.

"This will be a great day to honour our Veterans. We’re expecting large crowds to take in all of the festivities." [Bob Trowell - Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association.]

View the legendary Harvards – the bright yellow airplanes so beloved by Second World War air force personnel. Recognized as a tribute to those who served to preserve freedom, the Harvard is a living memorial to all who paid the supreme sacrifice.

The volunteer members of the Canadian Harvard Association have worked diligently over the past twenty-five years to acquire, restore, and display the Harvard and other aircraft associated with the Royal Canadian Air Force. Included in the collection are a Yale and a Tiger Moth plane, both completely restored and prepared for flight.

Special ceremonies will take place in the morning with many veterans and legion members present. The Ingersoll Pipe Band will provide stirring music to accompany the event. Memorial aircraft, flyovers along with the Harvard Aerobatic Team will add special significance to the occasion. Also visiting will be the only flying 2-seat P40 WWII fighter aircraft. The afternoon will see the dedication and first official flight of the restored Yale aircraft.
